Tiddly Pommes is a micro-enterprise which turns unused apples from the Oxford area into bottled juice for local sale. It was founded in 2007 by Rupert with a few dozen bottles of juice being produced each season. Since then it has expanded into a dedicated processing space and juices over 20 tonnes of apples per year all still harvested from the Oxford area, much of which would have otherwise gone to waste.
Tiddly Pommes works with over 100 different apple varieties each season and these are often pressed individually with the apple variety listed on each bottle. The juice is carefully pasteurised but remains unfiltered and unadulterated with no added ingredients, letting the pure flavours of each apple variety sing through.
As well as the variety you’ll spot each bottle has been given a rating between 1 (sharp) and 5 (sweet) to help you select a favourite. Although it’s rather lovely to try them all.
Please note we cannot guarantee the apple variety you’ll receive however it will be matched to your desired sweetness level.
Please leave you bottles out for us to collect and return to Rupert for reuse at your next delivery.
