TVP (textured vegetable protein) is a soya based mince which is a great minced meat alternative for use in chilli, lasagne, bolognese and more. Naturally high in protein and Vegan.
For best results, pre soak in hot water or vegetable stock first to allow the mince to expand and soften, then add to your favourite recipe. Or alternatively add water/stock, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and simmer for 10 – 15 minutes.
