If You Care Non-Toxic Biomass Firelighters

These biomass firelighters from If You Care contain only two ingredients: FSC wood and non-GMO vegetable oil. Simple as that.

Not just for the BBQ, you can use these environmentally friendly fire starting cubes for fireplaces, wood burning stoves/ovens and campfires/outdoor fire pits.

We love them because:

They have a long shelf life and do not lose firepower or dry out when left open
Free from unpleasant chemical smells
Non explosive and non toxic, and can be stored safely near or with food.
Harmless when in contact with plants, vegetation or aquatic organisms.

These are a great alternative to paraffin or kerosene based firelights which are derived from petroleum and therefore fossil fuels and which can release harmful chemical when burnt.

They come packaged in a recyclable paper bag which contains 72 firelighters, enough for for roughly 24 fires depending on use.
