Celebrating 3 years at our Faringdon Refill Shop!
This June marks our 3rd year offering refills from our shop in Faringdon. What an achievement, and in no small part down to our wonderful community, team, family and friends.
You help us live up to our name, it really does feel like we’re all in it together trying our best to reduce waste. And boy have we made some impact these last 3 years – here’s some headline figures to show you what superstars you are.
Together we have refilled:
Enough laundry detergent to do over 73,000 loads of washing
Refilled the equivalent of 3363 bottles of washing up liquid
Refilled the equivalent of over 10,726 plastic bags of dried fruit and nuts
Refilled the equivalent of 8575 bottles of shampoo, soap and body wash
Sold 5698 litres of milk which is over 2510 4 pint plastic bottles worth
Every refill with us saves single-use packaging from the waste stream and supports the world you want to see—one with local, independent retail, circular supply chains, organic farming, buying less but better, and shopping in a way that benefits both our local environment and community.
Thanks for being part of this journey and here’s to it continuing for many more years to come.
